PPUW Committees

Fund Allocations Committee

This is the best volunteer experience to truly understand the critical health and human service needs in our community. Volunteers visit and evaluate agencies and programs requesting funding from the PPUW Community Fund. The efficiency of this process ensures quality and success of the supported agencies, their programs and ultimately the clients in need. Learn more.

Leaders in Giving Development Team

Team members are donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually and help PPUW fulfill its mission by promoting Leaders in Giving. The committee is recruited in the spring and in the fall, with each member selecting 6 to 10 past donors or new prospects from our list who they know personally. Then, they personally contact each of their prospects and ask them to give a Leadership gift. There are currently 85 team members who are contacting over 1200 prospects. Visit the Leaders in Giving page to learn more about this group of donors.

Loaned Executive

Loaned Executives assist in the Resource Development department of Pikes Peak United Way, with primary responsibility concentrated in managing effective employee campaigns within businesses and organizations throughout the Pikes Peak region. Visit the Workplace Campaign page to learn more about the process.

Quality of Life Indicators

If you are interested in our community and enjoy working with others to measure, evaluate and communicate information vital to the interests of our region, this is the project for you. Volunteers should be skilled at time management, research, accurate reporting and have a real desire to create awareness of our community issues. Visit the Quality of Life Indicators page to learn more about the report.
