Giving context to impact
Books are the building blocks
A life-long love for learning starts with a bedtime story
Give a child the biggest boost toward a successful education they will ever get. For $30 a year, you will ensure that one child in our community receives a book a month; the program is for children age birth to five. “Often times the most powerful things are the simple things,” said David Dodson, President of the Dollywood Foundation. Created in 1996, Dolly Parton wanted to send free books to children who might not have books.
You can make a difference:
- $30 = 1 book a month for a year
- $150 = 1 book a month from birth to age 5
